Convention Report - Animania (Australia)
Animania website: http://animania.net.au/
On the 29th of March, Mini-Animania took place at Sydney's Citigate Central. Don't let the convention's
title fool you - Mini-Animania was no mini event. To cover all the happenings, we needed to divide the
report into five segments. Grab a Lamune bottle and enjoy the ride!
Part 1 - Line up
I told you Mini Animania didn't feel mini. Just look at the line:
The queue remained this long for over an hour. Uguu!
Hey, while we're waiting, why don't we snap some photos?
Naruto sure is popular.
Bleach's also well known.
We're getting closer towards the entrance.
Almost there...
... Yes - time to enter the hotel! But before we start snooping around, why don't we find some more cosplayers?
D-D-D-Deathno - *dies*.
Go on, fanboys - squeal over Saber.
This isn't a cosplay, but it's so funny we had to include it. I wonder how much money he earned?
As you can see, many fans showed up to Animania. I kept bumping into people's shoulders while I was roaming around. Since the fan base has grown, perhaps it's time for Animania to migrate to a bigger location?
Alright, that covers the cosplayers. Now, let's see what's on sale. Well, besides that yaoi guy in the above photo. See you in part two of the convention report.
