Comic Market is the world's largest comic convention, held twice a year in Tokyo, Japan. The first Comic Market was held in December 1975, with only about 30 participating circles and an estimated 700 attendees. Attendance has since swelled to over a quarter of a million people. The convention lasts for three days. Comic Market is held for the purpose of fans exchanging and communicating through their beloved hobby of Doujinshi. Fantasy, Parody, Yaoi, Yuri, Hentai....you can find any genre of Doujin product you imagine at Comic Market.
Other than Doujinshi, there are many fan-made products sold at Comic Market as well such as Doujin music, Novel, Doujin Game, Paper craft, Mini-Doll, Figures and many more.
It is truly exciting event. You can not find this kind of event (and scale) anywhere in the world. If you are a creator who specialize in Anime style works, this is the event you must visit!
No entrance fee is required for admission to Comic Market.
