Convention Report - Animania (Australia)
Animania website: http://animania.net.au/
On the 29th of March, Mini-Animania took place at Sydney's Citigate Central. Don't let the convention's
title fool you - Mini-Animania was no mini event. To cover all the happenings, we needed to divide the
report into five segments. Grab a Lamune bottle and enjoy the ride!
Part 5 - Omochikaeri!
I attended Mini-Animania as a journalist, but you know what? I'm just as much of a fan as any other visitor. In part two, I mentioned that I exited the stores with an empty wallet. Well, I wasn't joking. As an extra, I'll to show you the goods I bought!
Every Animania attendant received this flyer.
A School Rumble keychain.
Bless you, X-Seven Artist Studio, for passing these goods onto me.
A Nagisa and Tomoyo figurine. Cheers, Empire Toys. Please visit future conventions so that I may step closer towards bankruptcy.
This year's Mini-Animania revealed one fact - Sydney's anime community has grown. If this is the "mini" convention, I can't fathom what the main event in August will be like. All I know is this - we'll be there to find out. See you in August!
