Exclusive Interview with tsuina
[in JAPANESE]
As we introduced here, we have an exclusive interview with tsuina.
Many of the female characters drawn by tsuina are Meganekko, (A girl with glasses) which is one of the biggest Moe factors from Doujin and anime characters. Do you get turned on by Meganekko? If so, go visit Tear Drop website to see more!
Q1:What kind of child were you when you were small?
A1: I was the type of kid that is favored by teacher.
Q2: What made you decide to pursue the current career?
A2: Current career...I have my full time / part time jobs.
I don't have any solid career.
Q3: What are the best characteristics of your drawing?
A3: Characteristics...hmm I don't know. I don't have anything particular.
Q4: Which part of your image do you put the best
thought into?
A4: My works always have little bit of sexy flavor.
Q5: Among all of your works, which one do you like the best?
A5:
I don't keep track of my works. I create, and then forget them very quickly. It's for the peace of mind.
Q6: What program and software do you use to create
your works?
A6:
I use Photoshop and Painter for color illustration. I use ComicStudio for monochrome art.
Q7: What is the ultimate art for you?
A7:
Ultimate art...it must be something impossible to express with words.
Q8: Which part of the image do you start with? (Such
as face line, background, etc)
A8: I start with the total rough image, and then start with the face line.
Q9: Do you have any creator or artist you admire?
A9: My favorite Doujin creatorEhmm. I find many illustrations I like, but I don't remember their names.
I have such low ability to remember people's name. It is terrible.
Q10: Where do you get your inspirations from? (Example:
from books, TV, etc)
A10: From novels and games I have read and played before.
But I usually don't I get inspiration from other people's work.
Q11: Do you have a goal in terms of creating works?
A11:
When I create something like Q10, it might be the end of my work.
Q12: What animals do you like?
A12:
A girl. Also, cat and dog.
Q13: What is your blood type?
A13:
As far as I remember, it was AB.
Q14: How do you spend your weekends?
A14: I have so much energy for shopping. Also, I have so much crave for sleeping.
Q15: Do you have any sites you check everyday?
A15: I am not so studious to check some specific site everyday.
Q16: What is your hobby other than drawing?
A16: Sleeping is the best.
Q17: Do you have any project you are currently working on?
A17:
Not particularly, but I should be preparing for Summer Comic Market.
Q18: Message to creators outside of Japan
A18:
My works are clumsy. But please take a look if you have a chance.
Q18: Would you accept work offer from outside of Japan?
A18: I don't think I will be getting any offers, but I have poor skill understanding written foreign language.
It might be hard.
