This building consists of many different general offices. 1st through 3rd floors are filled with restaurants and cafes. Many people rush into those floors during lunch and dinner time. Among all of the floors in UDX, we strongly recommend you visiting the facility on the 4th floor. Advanced Knowledge Field On the 4th floor, there is a facility called "Advanced Knowledge Field", invested by NTT Urban Development Corp and Kajima Corp. Visitors can experience the latest developmental environment with facilities such as "Tokyo Food Theater" and "Akiba 3D Theater". Akiba 3D Theater With the capacity of 174 seats, visitors can enjoy Animation and Games in a facility with digital cinematic projector. This place is often used with Anime and Game events. With SRD-EX (Dolby Digital Surround EX) sound system, it creates a thrilling sound environment. The screen size used in this facility is 10.5m in width and 44m in height, which is pretty big compared to most of the movie theaters. This facility is for rent to public, costing around $1,900 (in USA dollar) as the minimum rental fee. (Week day, 9:00am - 12:00noon) Tokyo Food Theater Along "Akiba 3D Theater", there are cafes and restaurants. There are about 300 seats. Those seats were set in precise angle so that visitors can view projector and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) from any of those seats. Foods are great since the chief chef of the restaurant is from a prestigious restaurant. Akiba 3D Studio Akiba 3D Studio is a space for having conference, such as seminar. This facility is equipped with high spec PCs. Seminars on 3D movies and 3D graphics are often held at this studio.
